What to except Our Process

CONSULTATION

Dr. Blanchard takes the time to walk patients through the risks and benefits during the consultation. She will go through the patient’s entire medical history to see if they are a good fit for a particular procedure. Typically, consultations last an hour and facial esthetics consultations last a half hour. She provides brochures with additional information, and shows realistic before and after photos for the patient to make the best choice.

PROCEDURE

Minimally invasive procedures like fillers and injectables are conducted at her Willoughby Hills Surgery Center.

FOLLOW-UP

Dr. Blanchard provides a list of follow-up instructions for post-procedure care and goes over it with each patient. Some procedures require 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month follow-up appointments in her office.

Is there downtime after a chemical peel?

To produce results, the concentrations of chemicals Dr. Blanchard has found most effective at exfoliating the outermost layer of skin to reveal younger, glowing skin, often causes your skin to shed for several days after a peel.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes. Dr. Blanchard meets with each patient and takes the time to pinpoint her esthetic goals, review the medical history and discuss possible outcomes.

How is Daxxify different than other esthetic treatments like Botox?

It generally lasts longer, and since it’s peptide-stabilized, Daxxify has the added benefit of not only diminishing wrinkles, but improving skin’s appearance, often called the “Daxxy glow.”

I’ve recently lost weight and have sagging skin on my upper arms, can you treat that?

Yes, our latest equipment—Morpheus8 Ignite—combines radio frequency energy with microneedling to tighten skin by remodeling tissue and encouraging your body to produce more collagen. It can also be used to tighten the face and neck.

Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications for weight loss?

Yes, through our weight loss program, nurses do a thorough in-person medical evaluation, screen each patient and educate them about the medication administration and side effects of semaglutide injections. During treatment, the team also takes a deep dive into your lifestyle to understand underlying triggers that my have caused patients to struggle with weight.
